Welcome

Welcome to The Daily Princetonian’s fifth annual survey of the freshman class. The data within this writeup tell a bit of the story of the Great Class of 2029.

Our project seeks to dive into a holistic profile of the University’s youngest class. While the University publicly reports demographic and academic information, other data — such as the juicy sex lives, drinking habits, or intentions to make a lot of money — are impossible to find publicly.

A complete summary of responses to the survey can be found here.

We invite you to browse our findings with a curious mindset. Click on every graph, select every drop down, and really get to know the fresh ’29s. By reading our narratives on Demographics, College Life, Academics, and Views, you’ll experience a snapshot of the survey’s most interesting findings. Additional interactive charts reveal greater detail and cross examinations of different University populations.

To the Class of 2029, thank you to each member of your class who filled out our survey, telling their unique story. We hope you enjoy clicking through the various visualizations as much as we did. Welcome to the “Orange Bubble,” we hope you enjoy your next four years here! Who knows, you might be filling out our Senior Survey telling a completely different story.

Best,

Vincent Etherton ’26 and Alexa Wingate ’27
